100% solarisation of Konark Temple and Konark Town by MNRE
The GoI has launched scheme for 100% solarisation of Konark Temple and Konark town by setting up of 10 MW grid connected solar project and various solar off-grid applications. The funds for this scheme will be provided by MNRE and will be implemented by OREDA. The scheme will meet all the energy requirements of Konark town with solar energy.

Iran’s Parliament “Iranian Majles” has passed a bill to change the national currency from the ‘rial’ to the ‘toman’. This move comes after a sharp fall in the value of currency due to the crippling US sanctions.
